Equipment Considerations

You can fly in to the Philippines practically without bringing any cave diving equipment. You can rent (and buy) all you need from specialized diveshops like Philtech in Manila, Jaime’s Dive Center in Cebu or Punta Bilar Dive Center in Surigao. Air and pure oxygen are the most common gases available. Helium for deeper diving is available and so are boosters but expensive to procure. Tanks like 11l and 6l are available to use.

You may want to bring in your favourite wetsuit (cave water temperature is 24-26 centigrade), light canister and extra lights, dive computer and mask. If you have extra space in your baggage, you can bring your sidemount or backmount BCD, booties and fins. Some of our cave diving guests bring in their rebreathers and sofnolime.

Hotels and meals

Cheap lodging and cheaper meals are plenty where the caves are located. There are also upscale hotels in nearby urban centers. Malls, ecoparks, tropical beaches and evening entertainment are within reach of the hotels and caves.
